Hey everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful time back at school. Anyhow, as you may have noticed at the top of the page, there is a new tab called "members" where the meeting summaries were. Now, if you hover over that tab, you will notice two items drop down, which are "Downloads" and "meeting summaries". On the downloads page we are posting up documents, such as the pledge forms if you happen to lose yours or your friend doesn't have them. As for the meeting summaries page, the page will still continue to be password protected, and the downloads page is not. That's all folks!
The Pledge 2 Recycle Drive starts now!
You should have received a pledge form packet in your 5th period class. In this packet you will find two pledge forms. All you have to do to participate in the program is talk to 2 neighbors on your right and 2 neighbors on your left and ask them to fill out a box on one of the pledge forms. Then simply return the form(s) to the box in the office or the box in P6. You are welcome to photocopy the forms, or you can find extras in either the office or P6.
Why should you participate?
Everybody loves cash, right? Well, the individual who returns the most completed forms will receive $150. The 2nd place contributor will receive $75, and the 3rd place contributor will receive $25. The class (grade level) that returns the most forms will receive $250.
This drive will help divert some of the 11 million tons of textiles that are sent to landfills every year.
Textiles collected through this pledge drive will be paid for by 7th Generation Recycling [link to the 7GR tab here], and all proceeds will go to Monta Vista's Gov Team.
When are the forms due back?
The forms are due back by Tuesday, January 17th.

Hey Everyone! For those of you who are not in the PwB Project, this year we are partnering with a textiles recycling company, thus we are partnering with Monta Vista Interact and we will be hosting a clothes drive! You can donate to anyone of the Interact clothes boxes(which are located in the office or the library), or the giant white bin in the bus circle right outside of the theater. All clothes will be sent off to the company, where it will be weighed and Monta Vista will receive money! So tell all of your friends to go and donate!
